Rocky Milburn is a Master Gardener with experience in horticulture, property management, and landscaping. He served as County Extension Horticultural Agent for the University of Tennessee, including consulting on garden and lawn plant issues, design, and pest control.
He also instituted the Master Gardener Program, directed construction and design of a volunteer city park, and managed and designed the City of Pleasant View, Tennessee's Master Gardener highway project. Rocky also wrote a gardening column for two local newspapers in Tennessee and participated in the Tennessee Rails to Trails plant design team.
Rocky is also an avid birder and member of the National Audubon Society, where he recently conducted a study and banding project on the endangered Roseate Spoonbill.
Rocky is a graduate of Indiana State University, where he majored in biology, Nashville State University, and University of Tennessee's Master Gardener program. He is a member of the Florida Native Plant Society, Master Gardener Association, National Audubon Society, Sierra Club, and Boy Scouts of America.
